Get Started with Your Talo Smart Card

Hey there!

Setting up your Talo Smart Card takes less than 2 minutes - promise. Just follow the steps below and you’ll be ready to track your things right from the Find My app.

🔋 Step 1: Power On Your Card

Press the small locator button on your Talo Card once.

You’ll hear a single beep - that means it’s powered on and ready to pair.

(Pro tip: To turn it off, hold the button for 3 seconds until you hear two beeps.)

📱 Step 2: Open the Find My App

Make sure your iPhone or iPad is updated and Bluetooth is on.

  1. Open the Find My app.

  2. Tap the Items tab at the bottom.

  3. Tap + > Add Item > Other Supported Item.

📡 Step 3: Connect Your Talo Card

Once your card appears as “Smart Card” on screen:

  1. Tap Connect

  2. Follow the prompts and tap Finish

Your Talo Card is now linked to your Apple ID - you’re all set.

🔌 Charging

Charge your Talo Card wirelessly using any regular wireless charger.

The red light will turn on while charging, and switch off when fully charged.

🧭 Lost Mode

Can’t find your item?

  1. Open Find My > Items tab

  2. Tap your Talo Card

  3. Tap Enable under Lost Mode

  4. Enter your contact info and a message (optional)

Your card is now locked and can’t be unpaired. Once found, just disable Lost Mode in the app.

🧼 Factory Reset

Need to reset or give your card to someone else?

  1. First, remove the card from the Find My app:

    • Tap your Talo Card

    • Make sure Lost Mode is off

    • Scroll down and tap Remove Item

  2. Then reset the card:

    • Press the locator button four times quickly (you’ll hear a beep each time)

    • Press and hold a fifth time until you hear a chime

Now your Talo Card is reset and ready to pair again.
